Embracing Change: April 2024 NewsLetter

Embracing change. Embracing the natural ebbs and flows of life. The stops and restarts. The new directions that we choose, or sometimes life chooses for us.

These are not easy ideas to always embrace, and yet sometimes it’s just what we need to take the next step onwards to true joy and purpose.

That is how these last couple months have felt to me.

To recap- we had the South Node Eclipse in Libra on March 25th. Letting go of certain ways of doing things, narratives, relationship imbalances, and how to find that inner balance within ourselves.

Then Mercury went Retrograde on April 1st. There is always some chaos and turbulence with retrogrades. Because we are so used to going non-stop, and during retrogrades the daily things that we bypass to get to our next task takes a little longer and needs more patience. So it FORCES us to stop and look at it. To take a breather and really evaluate how we feel about what’s going on instead of ignoring it.

Then on April 8th we had our second and final eclipse for this season-with the Moon next to the North Node in Aries.

This was a bold Eclipse, and also directed us to focus on past wounds and hurts that needed to be addressed. That’s because the Sun was also making a conjunction with the Asteroid Chiron, who addresses wounding and healing.

I believe these transits are never by coincidence, there is something we are all meant to be learning as a collective and individually about what hurts us and why. And how do we handle what hurts us-how do we work with those places?

Once we look at that, we are able to feel bold and brave to truly be in our most pure power.

For me I knew this was about my astrology business and practice (this Eclipse and Chiron conjunction was happening in my 9th house of learning, teaching, and spiritual practice).

Taking a look at why I have imposter syndrome, why can’t I own my personal power of my gifts with astrology and what I believe is a destined work for me in this lifetime.

It’s a hard pill to swallow, but this is a season to take the time and embrace it. And then let yourself own your personal power and be ridiculously confident about it, not letting anyone(or yourself) tell you otherwise.

That’s what this time is about.

And though the eclipses have passed, we are in this retrograde until April 25th, so there is another week to reassess, re-evaluate, and review.

With some more spicy transits occurring.

First of all, we go into Taurus season on Friday the 19th-Happy birthday to my fellow Tauruses!

Then the biggest transit happening this week is the Jupiter/Uranus Conjunction happening on April 20th at 7:26 PM PST.

Jupiter is a planet of expansion, joy, and abundant optimism. This energy wants you to jump fully in, with no doubts or hesitations.

Uranus is the planet of errectic change, freedom, innovation, and unconventionalism.

Together these planets are having you think outside of the box, no idea can be too big or too wild.

There might be some large changes happening around this time, and may feel a little out of your comfort zone.

But Jupiter is a glass half full type of energy, try to see whatever comes up in that light, even if it feels sudden.

This energy also may not be anything actually changing for you literally, but more so in the mind. Breakthroughs in areas of your life you feel stuck could happen, let yourself see that and imagine the best case scenario.

I hope this newsletter gives you some guidance or hope if you feel a little lost right now. It’s ok if you do-these are times where everything we trust in life seems to be changing rapidly, and sometimes it feels like the ground is collapsing under us.

But I truly believe that if we are doing our inner work, living balanced and connected to our inner guidance as possible, we can all work together to make this world a better place and come through it stronger.

I am very excited that my website will be public soon, with a much easier way to schedule appointments with me, see my availability, my services, and so much more.

I am opening up my calendar for summer events which includes birthday parties, festivals, workshops, anywhere where you would like to have astrology as a feature.

My team and I have put out five episodes of our podcast AstroLyrical, which still doesn’t feel real. It’s a dream to be able to combine two things that I care about so much. Music and astrology are two of my deepest passions, and I am very grateful to be able to create something that involves both of those things.

We are also fundraising this month for the podcast (mainly to cover expenses like mics, the online program to share the podcast, recording spaces), so if you would like to donate or contribute, we would so appreciate that!

Thank you all for being a part of this newsletter. It is something that brings me great joy to share with you these astrological thoughts.

But no hard feelings if you would like to unsubscribe from it, please let me know and I’ll remove you from this email list.

Sending you all so much love, healing, and time to review and reassess. I hope the Jupiter/Uranus energy sends you the lightbulb moments that are needed at this time and that can propel you to the next step in your journey!
